Movie franchises have become the dominant force in Hollywood, with expansive movie universes and interconnected stories spanning decades and numerous films. Other franchises like Monsterverse, Saw, Fast & Furious, James Bond, Transformers, Toy Story, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, and Middle-Earth have also capitalized on popular IPs to create epic stories that captivate audiences worldwide.

Transformers, originally popular in Japan, has exploded in popularity with seven live-action movies and plans for more projects. Similarly, Toy Story has remained a beloved franchise for years with an upcoming fifth installment in 2026.
