Her Excellency Alia Al Hammadi, CEO of the New Media Academy, highlighted the summit’s mission to drive positive impact in the digital media landscape, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
One of the key announcements for the third edition is the introduction of a $1 million award for purpose-driven content creators. This award is aimed at recognizing and rewarding content that generates a positive impact on communities. The audience will have the opportunity to nominate their favorite content creators for this award, with finalists selected through public vote and expert panel judgment.
Another key program unveiled during the preparatory meetings is the 1B Pitches initiative, designed to provide funding and support for content creators with innovative ideas. Participants will have the chance to pitch their ideas to potential investors and sponsors, showcasing their groundbreaking projects and ideas.
The 1 Billion Followers Summit Ambassadors were also announced, including well-known figures like Ahmed El Ghandour and the Anazala Family. These ambassadors will help promote the event and its mission of driving positive impact in the digital media landscape.
Ahmed El Ghandour, known for his popular YouTube program "Al Daheeh," and the Anazala Family, creators of the successful Anazala family YouTube channel, are just a few of the ambassadors set to amplify the summit’s message. More ambassadors are expected to be announced in the lead-up to the event.
