CollegeGrad.com’s employer survey reports a 22% increase in entry level hiring for 2022.

The United States’ hiring sector is experiencing growth, especially for entry-level positions seeking new college graduates. In 2022, hiring growth for new college grads has reached record-breaking levels, surpassing the number of students graduating annually. According to the findings of the Top Entry Level Employers survey by CollegeGrad.com, hiring of new college grads has increased by 22% in 2022 compared to the previous year. The survey includes insights from over 400 US-based employers, highlighting the heightened demand for entry-level talent.

Brian Krueger, CEO of CollegeGrad.com, emphasized that 2022 has become a race for entry-level employers to fulfill their hiring requirements, with many turning to virtual hiring and offering additional incentives to attract top talent from the Class of 2022. Despite these efforts, some employers may still struggle to fill all available job openings.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has secured the top position in the survey, projecting 5,262 entry-level hires in 2022. Marie Artim, VP Talent Acquisition for Enterprise Holdings, emphasized the company’s commitment to building a strong talent pipeline and providing a personalized candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
