Global Data Center Facility Summit 2024: Unite in Lion City for Intelligent Computing’s Future

The Global Data Center Facility Summit 2024, held in Singapore on May 17, 2024, focused on the theme of “Power the Digital Era Forward.” More than 600 industry leaders, experts, and partners gathered to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the global data center industry in the era of intelligent computing.

During the summit, Huawei, a key player in the industry, highlighted the importance of embracing the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence and building a green and reliable IT infrastructure. Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei, emphasized the unprecedented growth in the intelligent computing industry and the need for data centers to evolve to meet the increasing demands for computing power.

One of the main challenges facing the data center industry is reliability and electricity. As data centers transition from MW to GW tier, maintaining end-to-end reliability becomes crucial. Huawei aims to address these challenges by working closely with customers and partners to provide comprehensive solutions that encompass product, service, and ecosystem offerings.

Huawei’s E2E data center solutions focus on rapid deployment, flexible cooling, green energy, and ultimate reliability. The company’s global service network, with more than 1,800 professional engineers covering over 170 countries, ensures technical support round the clock. By collaborating with partners and developing ecosystem solutions, Huawei aims to provide customers with one-stop data center services and drive the industry forward into the AI era.

At the summit, Huawei showcased scenario-based solutions for different types of data centers, alongside ecosystem partners like CIMC, Weichai, CSCEC, and Huashi. The unveiling of the Huawei Outdoor PowerPOD exhibition vehicle highlighted a container power system that offers outdoor deployment, plug-and-play functionality, and high reliability, making it an ideal choice for decoupling architecture from power supply.

As the industry continues to evolve, Huawei remains committed to helping customers build reliable IT infrastructure, accelerate the adoption of AI, and advance the digital age. Through innovation, collaboration with partners, and a focus on sustainability, Huawei aims to lead the way in shaping the future of data centers and intelligent computing.
