HMH Announces Annual 180 Award Winners: Recognizing Students and Educators

The 18th Annual 180 Awards by HMH are shining a spotlight on exceptional students and educators who have overcome obstacles and achieved success with the help of HMH’s Read 180 and Math 180 intervention programs. These awards celebrate those who have shown outstanding academic and personal growth, leadership, and advocacy for positive change within their school communities.

HMH’s intervention programs seamlessly blend teacher-led instruction with adaptive technology to personalize the learning experience for every student, whether they are in specialized or general education classrooms. The goal is to provide comprehensive support and tailored interventions for students in need of academic help.

This year’s 180 Award recipients have demonstrated remarkable resilience, with 99% showing significant growth in academic and personal challenges, literacy and math skills, and pursuit of college and career goals. Their achievements serve as inspiration for their peers and reflect the dedication of their educators.

The 29 educator winners have shown exceptional commitment to their students’ growth, utilizing HMH’s intervention programs to drive success in and outside of the classroom. These teachers, coming from diverse backgrounds and expertise, all share a passion for helping students build strong academic foundations and prepare them for the future.

In addition to recognizing outstanding achievements in education, the 180 Awards also aim to showcase best practices and build a community that inspires others to adopt innovative teaching methods and intervention strategies that positively impact student outcomes.
