This year’s theme, “Co-Creating Impact,” will focus on key topics such as Impact Investing, Amazonia, Inclusion, Bioeconomy, and Climate Change. CEO James Scriven emphasizes the importance of the private sector in scaling sustainable business solutions and mobilizing impact investors to the region.
With Latin America and the Caribbean being home to the Amazon rainforest, which plays a vital role in the global climate balance, urgent action is needed to address the ecological challenges facing the region. The Amazon region spans nine countries and is home to over 60 million people, including numerous indigenous groups. Protecting the Amazon is crucial for preserving ecosystems globally and ensuring a sustainable supply of freshwater for Latin America.
