JA Solar has maintained its AAA rating in the latest PV ModuleTech bankability rankings by PV Tech for the 4th quarter of 2023. This ranking reflects the company’s leading position in areas such as production, shipment volume, capacity distribution, technological structure, and financial performance.
For many years, the company has adhered to the concept of developing products that “increase value for the customer,” focusing on creating long-term value for the global market in the form of photovoltaic products with lower levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) and balance of system (BOS) costs.
To meet the market demand for high-efficiency n-type solar panels, JA Solar released its range of high-performance n-type DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules in 2023, based on rectangular wafers measuring 182mm x 199mm. The flagship module, sized at 2465mm x 1134mm (with 72 cells), has a maximum power of up to 635W, and an efficiency of 22.8%, making it the most powerful product on the market among modern 182 series modules. In January 2024, the company launched the SkyBlue and OceanBlue series, specifically designed for marine operating conditions. These modules inherit the high power, high efficiency, high electricity generation, and reliability of the DeepBlue 4.0 Pro module, and also have additional benefits, such as resistance to salt mist, ultraviolet radiation, humidity, and hotspots, improving reliability and resistance to harsh weather conditions typical of a marine environment.
JA Solar has consistently been recognized as one of the leading brands in the solar energy sector by EUPD Research in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. It has also been named a “Top Performer” by PVEL, and an “Overall Highest Achiever” by RETC for eight and four consecutive years, respectively.
