The company saw a 6.5% increase in consolidated revenues, reaching 273.2 million euros, with EBITDA at 41.7 million euros, a 24.5% rise from the previous year. Esaote’s EBIT reached 13.4 million euros, and the net profit tripled to 6.2 million euros compared to 2022.
Sales growth was observed across all business lines, particularly in the ultrasound segment, which saw a significant increase of 9.7%. Additionally, the MRI segment achieved record sales for the second consecutive year, with a growth of 3.3%. This robust performance is part of Esaote’s long-term strategy focused on innovation, quality, people, and differentiation of product portfolios.
Esaote has been experiencing continuous expansion, with an average annual growth rate of 7.6% over the past four years. The company’s commitment to R&D is evident with an investment of 32.9 million euros in this area in 2023. Furthermore, Esaote has a strong presence in international markets, which account for 64.5% of total revenues, with notable sales growth in Western Europe, North America, and China. Latin America and APAC markets also showed significant growth.
