On the second day of the Spielwarenmesse, six new products were honoured with the coveted ToyAward – presented in six respective categories. For the Baby & Infant category, the winner was Haba with its Basic Building Blocks – Multicolored. Taking first place in the PreSchool section was the building game Stix from OPPI while Franckh-Kosmos clinched the award for the SchoolKids segment with Adventure Puzzle – The Light in the Magic Forest. Additionally, Fizz Creations claimed the accolade in the Teenager & Adults section with the mini games Tetris & Pac Man Arcade in a Tin, while Hoppstar emerged victorious in the Startup category with Artist. Finally, the award for Sustainability went to Feber Recycle Eco House from Famosa by Giochi Preziosi.

These six products were chosen for their creative play ideas, potential for success, and high production quality by a 13-member international jury of experts who carefully reviewed 524 submissions. A special ToyAward stand was set up in Hall 3A to showcase the award-winning products, and it became a focal point of attention for Toy Fair attendees. The jury lauded the safety, potential for commercial success, play enjoyment, originality, production and quality, and comprehensibility of the product concept for each of the winning products.

The winner in the Baby & Infant category, Basic Building Blocks – Multicolored by Haba, captures the essence of a classic play concept in a vibrant way that lets children develop important skills through play. In the PreSchool category, Stix by OPPI creates unexpected constructions with its rotating joints and silicone tubes, providing children with an outlet for creativity and analytic skills. Meanwhile, the Adventure Puzzle – The Light in the Enchanted Forest by Franckh-Kosmos allows children up to the age of ten to embark on an exciting journey through interactive storytelling and puzzles. In the Teenager & Adults category, the Tetris & Pac Man Arcade in a Tin by Fizz Creations caters to retro game lovers by offering portable miniature arcade games, and the Hoppstar’s Artist is an instant camera designed for young photographers aged 6-10 years. Lastly, in the Sustainability category, the Feber Recycle Eco House from Famosa by Giochi Preziosi achieves its sustainability goals by using 90% recycled plastic and by offering educational role-play activities.
