Vanessa Lachey responds to cancellation of ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’

Vanessa Lachey recently expressed her shock over the cancellation of NCIS: Hawai’i in a heartfelt Instagram post. The show, which premiered in 2021 as a spinoff of the popular NCIS franchise, follows Special Agent Jane Tennant and her team as they investigate crimes in Hawaii. Despite the unexpected cancellation, fans can still catch the season 3 finale, which will now serve as the series’ final episode on May 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The news of the cancellation comes amidst the celebration of the NCIS-verse’s 1,000th episode, which featured a crossover event with characters from NCIS: Hawai’i and NCIS: Los Angeles. While fans are disappointed by the sudden end of NCIS: Hawai’i, they can look forward to two new NCIS shows in the works: NCIS: Origins, which will follow a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, and an upcoming Paramount+ series starring Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly as their beloved NCIS characters Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo.
